A Little About Me:
I studied graphic design with illustration at Central Saint Martins. I’m a painter, and award-winning children’s book illustrator, (with over 30 children’s books published to date, my clients include Pan Macmillan, Puffin, Ladybird and London Zoo).
Gouache is my favourite medium - it’s so versatile – it has the ability to create loose washes (like traditional watercolour), but also flat and layered colour, and texture.
I love recreating a feeling of nature inspired warmth in my work. And a key part of my practice is plein air painting (particularly with friends, and a nice coffee!). I’m an active member of the London Plein Air Painting Group; we regularly meet to paint together at a variety of locations. These ‘from life’ observational studies form the basis of my studio work.
Recent Exhibitions:
Royal Watercolour Society Open Show 2026 - I was lucky enough to be selected for the RWS show earlier this year, at the Bankside Gallery. It was an amazing experience, and so much fun.
